Why do You Like Yaoi?

What are your reasons for liking Yaoi? (=・ω・=)

I like Yaoi because the romance can be so cute, the art is so much better then Shoujo Smut Manga.

I think one of the biggest reasons why I like yaoi is, how do I say it, variety? like shoujo for example is always designed to appeal to younger girls and the plots are often cheesy and unrealistic, so if I want something different I have to look for a completely different genre, like josei, but there I will also only find the same kind of stories. when it comes to yaoi however, I can get both fluff and smut, high schoolers and salary men, action or simply slice of life... and there are so many different roles, like the unexpected pretty seme or short uke.

((and lets be honest, the smut really is better in yaoi. in shoujo or "straight" manga the smut part is always "less" smutty, there are sparkles and basically just the couple embracing each other naked. that can be romantic and all, but realistic..? sex is sex, it's supposed to be a little raunchy.))

also sorry for the long ass reply but yaoi makes me passionate (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I like it for two reasons.
    Reason #1:
It's so much more fulfilling to me than shoujo ever was. People often say that yaoi has little to no plot sometimes (which is true) but at least in a yaoi manga, I don't have to wait like 50 chapters for the characters to get together, and mutually share their feelings for one another. The guys in yaoi usually are quicker to take the initiative than the guys in shoujo, which can lead to quicker and more effective results. Sorry, but I really, REALLY like the steamy scenes in yaoi, and I'm more likely to see them than in shoujo. Also, I really just want to see the characters be able to get together, and not feel the urge to flip a table because a spitful third character wants to frick everything up, and unnecessarily complicate things. (which always happens in shoujo and rarely in yaoi)
    Reason #2:
Because I'm not in a relationship, and reading yaoi actually makes me feel fine with that. ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
