well we know she doesn't love in romantically, she likes him. Either she doesn't realize she would be sad or should wouldn't if ML was taken away. Idk ML also doesn't have a good understanding of his emotions yet either, from my perspective, but idk they give each other gifts and that so i don't think it's that shallow. I think calling ML handsome is more than just looks. As we can tell he see the scary face of his father in his reflection, so calling him handsome also helps build his self confidence when it comes to emotions and I think ML knows that. And it's not like it's a lie either. FL also doesn't seem like the type to leave ML if he suddenly turns ugly either. Idk wanted to get my thoughts in.
Their relationship is actually pretty sweet but it somehow feels superficial. She constantly says he is handsome and that’s all. What about his personality? I hope it’s not a story telling mistake, but because she is just liking him not in love.
Also I find characters too generic too... Idk I just hope it’ll be fixed later and they have some depth, cause I really love the sweetness and openness of this webtoon
