I agree with you. I don’t think he’s incapable of feeling love. I do think he has little to no idea how to identify feelings of love and deal properly with it tho. Cuz if it was all abt his pride, he wouldn’t do some of the things he did for Nakyum. But to call it love at this stage............. idk yet HAHA
Seungho is not a sociopath, he would be if he were a modern man doing what he does in modern times. Any show showing Korean feudal era shows those were times where Lords acted like Seungho does it. The proof of it is that Seungho does what he does --- kill a servant for instance --- in public eye and nothing happens.
It is not Seungho who is sociopath, it's the time he lives in.
As for love, even the worst human being may be more complex than only be capable or evil or goodness so even if Seungho were a sociopath on modern times, yes, it could be possible to have feelings that we associate with humanity. On this logic, even if we don't want to believe it, even Hittler could have loved someone and he probably did.
Back to Seungho, it is most probably true that his focus on Nakyum started as a challenge to his pride but I find so much harder to believe that he could have known Nakyum and not fall in love with him that the other way around. Someone posted something here once about how Seungho never stood a chance the moment Nakyum entered his life. A man starved of humanity and that only knew other people like him that were in for themselves .... Nakyum honestly, his pure heart, his kindness, everything that Seungho never knew .... plus Nakyum is probably the cutest thing Seungho ever lays his eyes on so the question is .... how could Seungho not fall madly in love with Nakyum?
I don’t think Seungho sociopath ass is capable of love. I think it’s about his own pride, possession and obssession he feel toward Nakyum. The same feeling a child can have toward a beautiful object or a toy I guess ?
