I agree with you for the sake of Avery but wasn't it mentioned somewhere that if she is a legitimate child and heir she could possibly outrank Albert? Wouldn't that mean he'd have to take her name? Even though I think it would make her way to uncomfortable. And it was stated earlier that the Duke wanted to pass on his title to his grandson, so I think it's going to end up that way.
Yeah...lets not do that. Cause if you accept the dukedom...wouldn't you have to give uo your title when you marry Albert anyway? I mean Albert can also give up his title but the difference between them is Avery's sane and good cousin can still take the title but Albert is the only heir to his dukedom so there will be literally nobody to take over so then they'll have to find somebody else and a lot more complications. It'll just be easier if Avery didn't accept the offer and just let her cousin take over. Cause...he's the only good person to come out on THAT side of the family so he shouldn't be punished since he is innocent and has no ill will to Avery and even tried to help her when he found out what is mother and brother were doing. Yeah, so lets make this simple and not do that.
