SpoilerTurns out the prince was poisoned and was manipulated by the old guy who takes care of jieun and never knew what he was doing to aristia. And after aristia died he got sober and fell into depression because he realized all that he did while under the impression of the poison. The kingdom falls to ruins and the reason jieun cane back was to get revenge on aristia and the prince because 1, the prince started to neglect her because he was never inline with her, he was just delusional cause of the poison. And he would always tell her that he missed aristia, and 2 because she was mad and jealous of aristia bc she was loved by the prince and bc aristia was then later respected by the kingdom after she died bc without her and her work the kingdom started getting a bad reputation, and jieun had to take her job after she died but she was reallyyyy bad at it that she was called cursed or something like. So I’m reality I feel bad for both the prince and aristia bc they were both not themselves. And the prince actually loved aristia bro like that kinda hurts.
