The thing is she still developing because it says no I’m still hurting but I’m getting through it because of all the love I’m And happiness I’m getting now like it’s insanely Beautiful shows that it’s a continuous battle even when you’re happy but what I was afraid of was is it going to fall into the yes I had the small amount of developing that’s it no I’m all good and dandy even if I do backtrack it to like oh I remember this but I’m fine now that’s what I was so happy about like it’s so good it shows that PTSD is so fucking valid and it shows the progress like it doesn’t just go away I love that it doesn’t because it’s not supposed to it’s a continuous battle
I agree the way they don’t just erase her past trauma as soon as she falls in love or something like that its truly commendable
I know the story was so well thought out because she’s is falling love and it scaring me because I hope they don’t forget everything they’ve been building up because she clearly has other problems right now so it better be a slow burn or I’ll get so mad because this is perfect made for a slow burn like don’t you just love the initial yeah Yeah after a couple months she got better but It didn’t just magically disappear after she became a little bit more confident
True I feel like the romance aspect will be kept in the background more and they’ll instead focus more on the “action” scenes it took fifty chapters in the first place for her to realize she may have some sort of romantic feelings and he doesn't even like her in that way yet so I have faith it’ll be kept slow burn
In these types of stories it's rare to find a female mc to be actually strong, her development was enough to make me cry she truly deserves all the happiness she gets.
