People are too lenient towards the toxic, abusive asshole seme (just because the seme is hot does not mean he can be forgiven right away ahem POTN & Yours to Claim) It's rare to find a popular manhwa or manga that has a good consensual and respectful seme.
Then again, we are all hopeful for a good character development but it doesn't mean we will ignore the seme's past actions.

it’s so overused, the main couple are all happy and then they bring in this annoying brother who objects everything and the brother ends up falling for the slight manipulation.
it all kicks off in happy town until the seme (usually) declares his love for the uke (usually) in front of the brother, *epiphany moment where the seme makes an elated face and the brother is all kira kira doki doki sparkles*, and then bam they all make up after the brother says some shit like “i don’t support you but i’m glad ur happy bro” and walks off into the distance waving his hand (づ￣ ³￣)づ
I agreeeeee! I dont even read POTN but i get this negative vibes from the seme. I kept saying that the only beautiful thing in that story is the uke.
You could tell that people prefer a smutty story, regardless if the MCs are in a healthy or toxic relationship or not. if you see polls, you'd see the overly sexy and toxic manhuas among the top rank
