Apparently, the butler was a spy for Euthigen (the prince), but the "evidence" was fabricated. But personally, I think Euthigen wants to get rid of the duke regardless of whether or not the evidence was fabricated.
Why would u send a spy and then not even ask for a report or anything before confronting and accusing the guy of things he never did. (〜￣△￣)〜
But I will be so bad if fian gets betrayed now by euthigen
