OK so I got the gist of it. Alek liked Hen and wanted to toy with him. So he marked Hen at the Christmas Party in the start of the story and Arranged for Ivan to be placed next to Hen. After that All just watch as Ivan and Hens relationship grew and became jealous. I think the reason Alek put them together is because they were enemies and didn't think they would be lovers （￣へ￣） ╮(￣▽￣)╭
