I don’t understand why are lgbtq relationships always portrayed like this... why can’t the authors develop the character without r*pe ffs

bc this is typically targeted towards girls who read bl in korea/japan thats how it is its never rlly about how it actually is irl. like theres many books in the us about lqbtq relationships which im pretty sure most ppl can relate to and im sure theres books like that in japan and korean too but these are manga/manhua/mahwas. and if u dont like the story then just dont read it simple as that

You’re not wrong but I’ve read some really nice proper Bl Manga, Another’s Like it was properly developed and it was really nice and it wasn’t like overly fluffy so you can’t find the diamonds in the rough if you spend enough time looking for them is a person that has red for so fucking long just look carefully

I think you’re taking this the wrong way.. I never said this was imitating what happens irl
And I don’t think r*pe has anything to do with target audience..
There are tons of bls with zero mentions of r*pe.. I was just saying it’s sad how many times this happens just out of the blue

Yes! obviously this has nothing to do with what happens irl, I was just saying it’s sad how many times this is portrayed.. (with almost nothing happening to the characters afterwards)
I’ve read so many incredible bls were there is development always through consent.
