the maid

I feel bad for the maid, because nobody should experience this. At the same time why bring others down just because you're down. That's why I don't like her.

So true I speak from experience.(* ̄△ ̄*)What happened to her shouldn't happen to anyone however being a victim doesn't justify such actions ( ̄へ ̄)

The point is not whether you like her or not. It’s that trauma and bad circumstances can make you be a bad person, so you shouldn’t be simple-minded and judge people easily by right and wrong. If a little boy was beaten repeatedly and grew up to become a dog abuser, obviously it’s wrong — the thing is that they didn’t choose to be that way.

You’re missing the point, essentially. Everyone knows what the maid did was wrong. But she didn’t choose to be that way, did she? You’re telling me a rape victim has an easy choice in deciding to be nice to people when she has so much pent up rage and anger towards her aggressor, and she can’t do anything about it?

I don't think that's a good mentaluty to have. Like, yeah bad things have happened to her. There were times she could have left/stopped herself, when she was thrown away, a perfect chance to leave, but she chose to go back to him, didn't seek help, and once she got "power" she abused others. It's a bad cycle, and she was aware of it, didn't seem like she felt remorse. Then, she continued to play the victim when she lost that power. She probably doesn't think she did anything wrong, and expects others, who she abused, to be nice to her. They don't know her situation, she doesn't know theirs and continued to abuse them.
It's sad she went through that in the first place, but she only saw herself. She doesnt seem like the type of character to accept her wrong doings, and will continue to only see herself as a victim.

If she steps up and actually seeks help, apologizes to the people she has wronged, then that would be good.

Of course, the guy who manipulated her should also apologize for what he has done. But he could have gone throigh some shit too, we don't know, so i hope they both accept their wrong doings. But then again, they're charaxters in a webtoon, so~

What you guys are doing is excusing her disgusting behavior, because she is a victim.

This is like saying a girl was being abused at home, then decided to go to her university and shoot the place up. Should we feel sad for her and blame her trauma, or should she as a grown woman with "morals" know that using power to harm others is inexcusable.

I cant feel sympathy or understanding for a person who became corrupt because of trauma. Everyone knows right and wrong and shouldn't vent anger on others because they are not happy.

I will say that the other maid was horrible to her while she was pregnant, but she never opened up to them or explain the situation either.

It seems you did not clearly analyze my comment. (●'◡'●)

what I said is that of course she IS a victim, she was raped, forced, and brainwashed, left with no choice, but when the guy was falling, she had a choice however she herself dived willingly to the temptation of power and superiority, I feel pity for her but how can she expect people to be nice to her when she didn't explain her situation? When she doesn't know their situation? When she continued to be a victim when she have the chance to rise? Both sides have their own situations but how much down she may be, she dont have a right to drag and drop others, who are innocent, with her ( ̄へ ̄)
