same! i loved it throughout the whole story, but the ending actually made me sad... like the author deliberately refrained from giving them a complete happy ending. it's like an itch n im so upset lol

I think that them sleeping in the bed together while facing each other is a sign that they’ve fixed their problem. By talking to their past selves they figured that they still love each other and the difference with their love between the 10 or 5 years has not changed but it just felt like it due to the fact that they’ve been together for so long. They got so comfortable with one another To the point that they forgot to show their love for one another and believed that it will always be alright. hence, Black haired dude kept, you could say, taking advantage of their love in hopes that their relationship will stay the same. Whereas brown/blonde dude, kept putting up with it until he couldn’t anymore. The lack of communication is a bit strange considering theyve been together for 10 years. They knew something was off, yet they decided not to talk it out. Probably from the fear that black haired dude was exhausted from work and brown didn’t want to feel like a burden.
I feel like the last few flashbacks were kind of a way to say that they talked it out and worked it out. And he mentioned that “it shouldn’t matter anymore” as a way of saying, from now on things will only get better. If another situation like that happens, then they’ll work it out again.
Bitch I wrote this to make sense of the ending but at the same time I’m still left unsatisfied :(
