the raws are only 3 chpts ahead. so nothing has been resolved wrt the couples, its still wrapping up the Scandal arc. that said it does look like haesoo is still very affected by joowon (but he hides it lol).

lol how is he toxic and he's not tried to contact or interfere with haesoo at all. he doesnt like try to seduce him when they meet again, he's just rightly worried that haesoo will get dragged into this scandal lol. but as for the content of their conversation i do not know it since i cant read hangul. i mean ship who you like but joowon is rly...not that bad lol. he's not rly worse than taku as an individual, its just his relationship with haesoo was getting stale and not evolving so it was time they broke up. and getting ur heart broken by your first love is a rite of passage into adulthood. taku is only 24, he'll be Fine even when Haesoo eventually ends their relationship. hopefully the author gives Taku his own love story in Sides after the main series is completed. he's too hot to be single forever haha

I....cant imagine that would be a satisfying ending for anyone who is reading a webtoon that is supposed to be about Boy's Love. unless its partially being touted as Tragedy or Horror in which case them dying together or not being able to be together for some reason is possible without betraying the central conceit of the story. but in this case there's no real narrative reason why there cant be an endgame couple. and like i said Taku will be fine cause he alrdy spent most of his life without Haesoo and is also very young. meanwhile Joowon and Haesoo have a longer and more complicated history. usually in stories like this that are almost entirely about love/sex/relationships the two on again off again lovers with the in depth backstory will be the ones who end up together like that's The Trope. its possible the writer decides ot go against that trope but she's def not gonna end it with them all separated lol i cant imagine most readers would be genuinely happy with that ending. even I would prefer Taku/Haesoo to everyone is alone even if i prefer Joowon/Haesoo overall but then again its also just...obvious they are endgame lol. Taku has been playing romantic spoiler and joowon's foil from day 1. he was never gonna be a real contender but the writing was so good and made sure u understood WHY taku is such an effective love rival instead of just using him as an empty prop for drama. it made people want to root for him and haesoo and thats def a more interesting story to read (also their sex scenes were FIRE). so yeah i get hwy people like Haesoo/Taku but at this point it couldnt be more clear that Taku's relationship with Haesoo is not gonna last. ty for coming to my TED talk? lol
