For me it's not confusing but the romance just really throws it off. I agree with that. Im glad that he's just portrayed as a guy that shows interest in girls rather than someone who seems like they dont have any emotions at all. But what i dont like is that he's suddenly proclaiming that he has a gf/wife lol nobody is confessing and there's no chemistry too

I'm starting to get bored of the story cuz its kinda confusing me and the romance kinda throws off the whole story.. I don't really get who Mo Fan loves/likes.. Is it Mu Ningxue or Ye Xinxia?? And btw, if you guys reread the whole comic again, you'll notice that some chapters were revised which made me so confuse when I was rereading it
