The reason would be whether it matters or not. If someone asked and she revealed it or simply says it's up to anyone's interpretation, that means it's not important after all. If she didn't, maybe she is indeed planning to use him again.
I'm probably biased in the other direction where I just don't want to want to see them. ^^"
True, some people can get a little immature over some things, and the problem is that there are a lot of underage readers who browse the 'adult' section of this site. I have seen some people admit to being 10-13 years old when they started reading yaoi, which is, essentially, porn. So when arguments flare up over things, I often have to wonder just how old some of these fans are. But there is not much that can be done about it, and if the underagers want to read this stuff, they will find it somewhere, somehow. Sometimes it is just a lack of oversight by the parents, but not always, and some fans just never develop a mature attitude no matter what age they are. SMH.
I feel Yaoi should be at the very least 15+ or something. Some people take it to an obsessive level, so that's scary when thinking of a 10 years old girl.
Sincerely, I sometimes wonder too about what age people here are, or if they're just eternally bound to be that way (which is saad).
Trolls indeed seem to have sort of merged somewhere else. Not that people here let them have much of a chance anymore aha.
Basically, trolls are trolls, fandom is fandom, trolls are poison to fandom. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
alohomori be haapy you have the largest comment in mangago ever since the creation of this site web 48 replies! congratulations.
Then I'll add one thing I just remembered. Yuri was barely fazed when Akihito shot him (granted it probably just a badly aimed graze but still), then if you believe the onsen extra to be canon, survive being shot several times and thrown overboard a ship, yet easily gets knocked out with a frying pan?
(not to mention, those that are now down for the count are more than likely going to stay out, which would now render him a completely unimportant goon character. Not trying to insult the first post, but just pointing out some logic. If Mikhail and him are involved, they wouldn't be joining the initial attack team, they'd be commanding it from behind).
The men who entered the penthouse aren't frail and Akihito hit the guy with all his strenght. Yuri is a human being so he's not invincible and, even him, if he's hit by a furious man with all his strenght with a pan, he wouldn't feel nothing. The head is a fragile area, Akihito would have been able to kill him with his pan, even if I think the guy is not dead. The helmet protected him a little.
It may be a new character of course but I can't believe the mangaka will put aside the russian mafia. She's just introduced them to us. We don't know anything about them although they are an important enemy for Asami.
When they were in the warehouse with Sudou, Akihito noticed a foreign accent. At the end of the chapter (49), it says the guy has his eyes on Akihito. Why Akihito? Why not Asami when we know Asami is also here?
I think Yuri is a crazy man who denies the fact that he is gay (or who can be sexually attracted by men). And he was enthralled by Akihito. This unhealthy attraction worsened when Akihito shot him with the gun, on the ship. For Yuri, it was like hunting an animal (he said it himself) but in the end, he didn’t succeed to kill his prey. He also thought Akihito was trying to seduce him. In my opinion, Yuri is an insane and proud man so he can’t leave Akihito like this.
The Russian mafia didn’t achieve or steal anything on the ship so I guess they are continuing their dealings in order to rob what they want, which belong to Feilong but also Asami.
And for the extra on the onsen, why does Yamane Ayano draw Yuri with a patch on his eye if he’s dead? It’s completely illogical. If he was dead, she wouldn’t draw him as he added nothing to this scene.
I agree with you when you’re saying Mikhail and Yuri would have commanding the attack in Asami’s penthouse. My doubts come from that thought. But, at the same time, I see Yuri for Mikhail like a sort of Kirishima for Asami (not a secretary for Mikhail but a right-hand man who still have to obey Mikhail). In the ship, it’s Yuri who is in charge to make the exchange between the feud and Akihito. Then, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was among the group who attacked Akihito and Asami (especially if he wants to resume his hunting where Akihito is the target).
Um, the Russian mafia was introduced years ago, and were basically only used to give Asami and Feilong a common enemy. If anything, they were Feilong's enemy more than Asami's, until they decided to steal Akihito of course.
You have a point, though, that it could be him if he were staring at Akihito and with the foreign accent (on the one hand, not every foreign accent has to be Russian, on the other, Yamane could be using that as a clue).
I still find the end of the onsen extra to be way too comedic to be canon. However maybe Yamane never planned to bring them back but realized she could use it as an opportunity anyway.
I (rererere) reread the new chapter and I think that Yuri is the guy hit by Akihito with his pan. We can see just an eye (the left one), as usual with Yuri, and the shape of the man seems to be the same as the Russian as well. Also, does anybody know where we can find the last page of the chapter? Theorically, there're 19 pages released and we could "only" read 18 pages. And on the last page (where Asami kisses Akihito's hair) there's no date for the next chapter so there's a page which misses. I'm dying to be able to read it as I can't get enough of this manga :D
