At first he was just a fake mate for red guy. Nobody knew he was an orc(or royal leneag) because he probably show any signs of being one. Until he ended up "dead" because of genetic complications. The white snake sorta had an idea of what he was because he had gone through it when he was young (but he wasn't as severe) , but that was only until recently that he found out.
