I like this manga but hate this certain thing?

Like I get it, ukes are precious and are meant to be protected (in some cases) but this dude is buff, he's an ex-delinquent for God's sake. He can hold his own. Why are they treating him like a meek woman? How was he so easily kidnapped that he couldn't even fight back?

... he is an ex "delinquent" in Japan to be considered an yankii or a "delinquent" you just need to bleach your hair, get a few piercings, skip some classes and maybe get in some fights. getting in some fights is school is not equal to being a yakuza/mobster/gang member with actual life and death experience and weapons... Besides he did try to fight back, he just was overpowered by an actual criminal. Being "buff" doesn't make you stronger than a yakuza leader...
Being treated like a meek woman? Men(no matter how 'buff' they are) can be victimized as well, EVERYONE is vulnerable to a gun(or being in the den of a yakuza sorrounded by multiple other yakuza outside).

Everyone can be vunerable, dont gatekeep vulnerability, dude...

You're telling me a buff delinquent with a record for beating the shit out of people (for which, by the way, he got kicked out of jobs) couldn't resist? It's not like the actual antagonist came down personally to get him. His lackeys caught him.
Also, even if he *did* fight and THEN lose like you said, why wasn't that part illustrated?

    And you're right

    I completely agree.

where do you get that he has a criminal record? that was never said. And he never got kicked out of jobs, he never got pass the interviews. the comic said no one gave him a job because he looked like a delinquent and he is so loyal to his current boss *because* he was the only person to hire him, despite his looks.

As someone said earlier, being buff does not in any means equate strength. An example of that are body builders. We aren't shown how he got kidnapped but we do know he has no formal training and most likely he was taken by surprise so he was out of his depth. It wasn't illustrated because it wasn't relevant to the story.
He didn't get kicked out of jobs because he fights. He wasn't able to get jobs due to his face which was also the reason why he got into fights. That's all we are given to work with.
BTW you saying "meek woman" as if woman are the only ones meek or the only ones who can be vulnerable is AT LEAST problematic

HONEY IT'S IN THE BEGINNING OF THE STORY I--
Well NOT a "criminal record" that's extreme yeah but basically he's very handsy?
IT WAS THE REASON WHY HE WAS KICKED OUT OF OTHER PLACES AND THATS WHY HE WAS GRATEFUL FOR BOSS

I literally said exactly this in the later replies though? Did you not read them?
    And yeah that's problematic

I went to reread chap 1 again and it was never mention he got rejected from 69 companies because of his record, but instead it was because of his “delinquent” looking face.
And the people looking for a fight with him because of his face before probably aren’t in the league as of those yakuza.

Read who you are replyimg to, I think you meant to say that to someone else(aerslevdi) but they are right, tho your first comment reads a bit problematic, so just say "Sorry, I know, I adressed it in another comment" and don't answer it what may be perceive as a really passive agressive fashion: "I literally said exactly this in the later replies though? Did you not read them?"

go and reread the comic... and post a link to where you think it says he was fighting and that made him get fired... I've reread it and it never says that.
