I kinda understand what you mean, but I guess, when it comes to Hacchi-san he always had some mix feelings, and he did enjoy, and he never wounded up being actually raped... so, I guess all those Ikemen together blurred my judgement so I did enjoy reading it...
I also disliked it at first, but for different reasons. I despise bigots and loathe the word "fag". So, the uke kinda ticked me off. I can understand past trauma being the reason for his behavior, but it doesn't excuse it. The seme ended up helping him in the long run. Since the thing homophobes are most afraid of is their own sexually being in question, the seme helped the uke figure out exactly where he stood.
Actually really didn't like this one ......
