i feel like i can usually get over the age difference thing in manga because they get together when they’re both adults but the way this author constantly flashes back to scenes of yuma being a caretaker is sooo weird like do u want us to see this guy as an adult or a child please choose one???

I was thinking exactly the same. It's like the author takes pleasure in portraying the relationship almost like real siblings, or some kind of "father and son". It's just rare and a little uncomfortable.

Psst- it's supposed to be uncomfortable, even the characters are uncomfortable with the situation "shoul've stayed a child"? They're all confused, we're all confused. The author did a good job. That's the point.

Lol I was thinking the same. If we weren't a little bit uncomfortable about all this, then we wouldn't be understanding what the couple is feeling, and this would be another X yaoi manga with good RarePair! Smut and nothing else.

i mean you’re not wrong, the author’s intention could really be to make people feel uncomfortable. saying they did a good job is pretty subjective though because i’m less uncomfortable and more just...finding it ridiculous i guess? things like this Iconic Baby Scene that just happened immediately takes readers way out of whatever smut is happening, and that honestly makes me feel bad for the author for having worked hard to draw all that because i’m too busy laughing at how they compared a sex pose to that instead of appreciating idk, the titties or smth. rly as someone who hasn’t even bought this work though i can’t criticize the author tooo much, just stating my personal thoughts

    Again... that's the whole dynamic
Idk if you are getting it
It's not a random baby shot
    It's intentional
