No it's not romance and the only story that got ruined by romance that I know of is True beauty
It's mostly about the MC and his development and his battles against the enemies... There are some mentions about love later on but it's kinda thrown there almost without context so almost non-existent...

Is this worth reading? Like this isn't some romance shit or something? Don't get me wrong, its just that, romance throws off the whole action plot sometimes.
