he is arrested with the other nobles because of his family's role in the treason plot, but because Oscar is a good boy, he refused to participate and Isis had had him locked away.
he divulged the whole plot and all of the details to the prince when Isis was captured and in return he was spared from execution. unfortunately he lost his noble status and was forced to become a commoner.

Noy really... it is true he didn't do bad things but he also didn't do good things!!!
He is mostly his sister puppet, reading the novel I also felt bad about him, but the true he was so passive in everything!
So I'm happy he is alive and I'm pretty sure he is happier be a commoner than continue be part of a family known as traitors!
The more you read the novel the less you will like oscar. He’s not evil or anything but he annoyed the hell out of me at the end

At the begining we think he is a strong character, but more you read, more you realize how weak he is, a puppet!!!
That is why I think he is happy to stop being a noble, began from zero, throw away his noble name!
Those who've finished the novel can you tell me what happened to oscar at the end? I've read the novel but only upto the downfall of the princess and mielle. Don't have time to read past that. Please reply me as I don't mind spoilers.
