what exactly was the point of the story?

guy needs money bc he is broke (why? what will he use the money for? how does the job affect his daily life now? what changed with the new money and experience in?) and has a bff who has unrequited feelings for guy who needs money (when did it start? how is he dealing with it? what is gonna happen now that broke guy found himself a lover again? how is his daily life affected by this relationship with his bff?). guy who needs money for some reason thinks he owes a random stranger favors, so random stranger exploits him sexually at his workplace (and everyone acts like that is perfectly normal and makes a lot of sense). turns out random stranger is his boss (why did he hide that fact? why did he want the sexual favors? why did he want broke guy specifically out of all employees? what made him fall in love so quickly? how did he come to be the ceo of a sex shop and anonymous reviewer of the prpducts? what's his relationship with the manager for her to cover for him?) and as they become a couple (very quickly), broke guy thinks his lover is cheating on him, but surprise! it's his lover's twin (why did he hide the fact that he has a twin brother? when his brother is obviously also gay and fooling around with men? in public? close to his twin brother's establishment? where his lover could see? and how come they have the same name? who is this brother and where did he go? he exited as suddenly as he entered the story), so now everything is fine again. the end.

like wtf i am glad i didn't waste money on this one lmao felt like i read a bunch of set-ups or scenarios that lead to nowhere and have no red string connecting them to an overarching plot. we still don't know anything about the characters and saw no development.

yo, shakespeare, this is BL. you cant expect every story to actually have substance because of the nature of the genre. yeah sure there are good bl that make it worth buying but there are plenty of stories out there with the same lacking plot and ppl read that stuff. there's really no point in over analyising this story if you think it's bland, move on. plot holes exist all over this genre we should be grateful for the consistent art quality atleast.
