Well said. I dont hate her but im feeling the same as you. In general feels like the story has hit a wall of sorts
i think the big difference is that before she was reacting to alejandro - the kid- and now she's reacting to alejandro -the man- and while she may have been more focused and centered at first, being in love might make her be a little airheaded? specially around the person she likes? idk...i didn't give up on her yet
thank you so much for articulating the thoughts i couldn't pin point! I couldn't shake off the feeling of not liking the MC the same anymore.. it seems like the roles have switched but she has lost her drive and charm. Not sure how the story will progress but right now it falls flat.
i was talking about that too, she had an alpha vibe in season 1 now she's like a little bunny :/
Let's make this clear, I don't hate the MC at all. For me, the problem is that Ibee's no longer the same character as from Season 1 - the author's not being consistent in their characterization of her. She's more airheaded, careless and a bit unrealistic in regard to many things in season 2, but she was never like this in season 1. She was a decent protag initially - independent, sincere, sticks to the novel. Now, she just goes "kyaaaa", "prince makes me shy", "wow you were so cool in killing that guy" (even tho in season 1 she has shown she doesn't like violence - I get the prince needed to kill that guy, but I wouldn't think Ibee would squeal over it and call it cool...).
Ibee just weirdly seems one-dimensional in season 2. I think the author hit a wall somewhere or just lost control over how they characterized her.
