He was absolutely devastated that he arrived to late. He held MC original crying rocking her and kept apologizing over and over. He took complete control after it was over. He takes his son away from Veronica and it's implied he killed her. He spends his time telling Ian about how his mom was better than any queen, and how he's sad she won't be remebered for who she actually was. He didn't even Elena's real name in that timeline

He really didn't have the power. Part of the problem and why the MC thinks the Prince hated her is because he was trying to gain more power in order to help her, and he was acting cold during that time. But due the grand duke and his father illness/failings the Royal Family lost a lot of influence.
*Cracks Knuckles* Okay this is going to be a lot. Spoilers incoming:

Elena: She is amazing through and through. She manipulates everything perfectly from the start to the very end. She assumes the personality of L. A masked woman who becomes renown to commoners and nobles a like. When you're in front of L status means nothing(which she uses against Veronica). She literally will drive the real Veronica into ruin, bad investments in her name, manipulating her into making a fool herself.
Veronica: Trash. Stuck up trash who cares for no one but herself. She ruins any good will that Elena gains her with her attitude. She's stupid and all her plans fail miserably. Seriously she's so terrible. Can't follow rules in certain settings. Think she's god's gift. Ugh she's get so many people against her on her own the MC really didn't have to do anything (MC does though cause she's badass) In the end she wasn't even worth executing right away. When they finally does her head rolls.
Elena's parents: They are fine and safe. They're living well and are happy, though they worry about their daughter.
Prince Ciel/Claudious: is the ML there's a couple other rivals, but he's the one she ends up with. Like I said in the previous spoilers he did generally care for her in her first life (he found out her real identity by overhearing a convo an how different she was from real Veronica. She was cruel during her childhood, and got worse as she got older. He hated the real Veronica!), though she doesn't think that and thinks he was in on killing her(He did act cold towards her while trying to save her so it's a bit of his fault). She eventually has a vision showing her the truth. In the first timeline he care for their son while telling him about how great of a person his mother was, and how he loved her.
Second Male Lead is Hurelbad (technically since he's introduced second outside of memories): the Knight she will wind up choosing. He doesn't care when she finds out she's not really Veronica. He swore his loyalty to her, and her alone. He was just a street kid that dick Knight brought to ruin the Knights. Jokes on him, this kid is amazing.
Third Male Lead is Len: Veronica's cousin. You'll love/hate him. Love him for how he helps Elena. Hate him because he's the one who poisoned Veronica and dragged the MC into this mess, unintentionally. He does help her out a lot. Though MC hates him at first because he bullied her in the past life(honestly he was just a bully overall) since he knew she was fake. Real Veronica has a scar. MC makes the scar this time.
Dick Knight: He is so creepy and scummy. He purposefully chooses terrible knights. He dies by Hurelbad's hand.
The Duke: He is a devious bastard who controls the the Emperor( he's really sick and weak willed at first. He gets better) and his family due to financial support. Scum of earth. No redeeming qualities about him. He gets skewered.
Leabrick: Hahaha MC has so much fun trolling her, and making things difficult for her. MC cause her to fail so much that the Duke imprisons her with those she had wrongfully imprisoned. She has to endure their shouting and verbal insults for a long time, before she's let out. She even admits that the MC is smarter than her, though she still she's tries to kill her again. She's executed right after the duke.
I'd keep going but there's so much more, and I'm running on fumes. My favorite scene is coming up though. Meeting Hurelbad and how the MC handles choosing him!
