No, it take time for a person to get over his dead lover. Yuki is as much as part of this manga as ue. They are moving forward. But slowly. It takes time.
That's what I'm saying the author should show us real Yuki to understand this story better and their relationship to move on. But now we just see him though other people memories and sorry that's not enough for me to understand &love character. That's why i feel like this story is stuck and i feel bad for ue who has to suffer though he did nothing wrong.
Ofc its slow but uk we have 36 chapters already. How much will we get to see ue&mafyu relationship? Have you thought about that?

I mean I'm sure this going to be a long manga not one of those short story manga that have either 5 or 10 chapter. I think it's going to be nice and slow. There's still going to be more on Yuki I think. And like I said since it takes time to get over a dead lover I think the pacing of the manga is fine since it's one of those manga's that will have loads of chapters.
But they've passed like 4 or 5 seasons already. Which could mean roughly a year. And it's not implied how many years it's been since Yuki died before meeting Ue. (Correct me if I'm wrong at the latter)
Finally! My fellow, who thinks like me!!! If this continue, I'm up for someone coming in unexpectedly in Ue's life who love's him. Just because it's him and not because He reminds him of someone else.
Even so it still takes time and this manga portrays that, it's his first time after Yuki to be interested in someone so of course it's going to take time and he is going to look at similarities but he also sees ue as himself. Like I said it's a slow burn manga so it's going to take time for
I still don't get it. If it takes that much amount of time, why confess in the first place? You gotta sort out your feelings first before you actually "get in" to a relationship. It just feels like, Mafuyu's half-assing their relationship. Concidering he's not even telling Ue all of his past, just him having an ex who died before.
No I don't see it as half-assing because you can see that he has moved on romantically he just still feels some emotions towards Yuki understandably especially with the day he died. It's a lot of guilt with it too.
