well from what ive seen from other stories
being 'gay' in the omegaverse is different compared to our world.
alpha x omega is basically the straights and alpha x alpha is gay even if one is female and the other is male.
so the norm would the have a male beta would normally be attracted to a female beta, so thats why he asked if he was gay
??he's just asking if the beta is gay. What else could there be? He wanted to confirm if he was gay or not cus he doesnt know cus obviously they dont know each other.
i think it only applies to betas.. since between alpha and omega it’s natural since they can have a family where betas it’s just like reality woman can conceive and men can’t so straight vs homosexual is the point
and why he asked him is he a gay?? aren't they okk with it? his ex was man, so they are both gay... so what's the matter?
