Exactly! I don’t understand why they didn’t animate this. It left so much closure better than the anime.

Yess here she’s pregnant and they have kids I don’t know why they saw this and chose to better keep them dead instead.
I could be wrong, but I think the manga wasn’t done at that point so instead of waiting for another season, they just decided to kill everyone. Me and my friend are in the minority, but we actually love how the anime went about it. We love that dark, tragic shit lol.
A lot of anime/manga do this... Coz sometimes there are ppl who wants to see an alternate ending/ story which happens in an anime or a alternate ending short manga.

I personally enjoy this ending much more than the anime ending the anime ending was odd to me and left me a little unsatisfied, this is definitely the ending I wanted to see.
