He didn't suffered. Yes he suffered because of his his FAMILY but not for MC. But MC always suffered because of him. Her self pride and self respect broken because of him. She humiliated by his family, he abused by his ex and he slapped him. Plus she stabbed because of him. Sorry but MC suffered like crazy! ML just like "I have child trauvma so I can do everything to everyone". But you know what? She had one too! Her mother died, her father a gammer and her only family member was her grandma but she died too.
Thts true she did suffer a lot for him but him never for her. Yh now tht i think about it, he should've been better than that, to her cuz she deserved better after her sacrfices for him. I do get that his childhood trauma affected him a lot and every person deals with them differently since everyone's different and cuz im dealing with one as well but i agree that he shouldve thought about her more since she was someone special to him
