I also think she has trouble seeing them as real people as well? Like obviously she knows they're real but I dont think she treats them as she would a real person, she just sees them as characters still.
Yeah I agree, and there’s also the fact that she may still be afraid of them disappearing. I don’t think she has time to feel love with all these other things in her mind.
i forgot that part of her being afraid to go back to her own world and live in a world without them.. ;_;
it's not because of that, but because she thinks they'll eventually confess to yeoryeong (which was the main character from the novel), until Dan-I hooped in the train and obviously became the main character herself without realizing, but the point here is: she thinks that the 4 heavenly kings are meant to end up falling for yeoryeong because that was how the story went when Dan-I was in her world (out of the novel), so yeah.
resume: what i'm basically saying is that she doesn't see them as potential love interest because she thinks that they will follow the novel plot, they'll fall for yeoryeong, NOT HERSELF (Dan-I).
