Yes, that is correct! Zay is taking care of his sentence for when Aseph can show he is worthy of having it because he sold his for another one???? If I remember correctly, he wanted to have the same sentence as the sister because he fell in love with her thinking it was say, idk it’s a twin thing, but she had a sentence so Aseph made a deal with the devil to make one just like hers.........I think. That’s why Zay is taking care of it..........when Aseph fights the demon, idk how but he gets the same sentence as Zay.

This is actually such a cute story, if you ignore all the triggering and really sad fucked up shit in the first early chapters. Azeph deserves so much love and happiness, he’s such a unstable cutie pie. I really enjoy the love and their development throughout the series (mainly on Azeph’s behalf). It was kind of irritating that she just didn’t tell him sooner about her mark, but when she did, it was probably one of the best scenes in the whole series (by far). I honestly love everything about this webtoon. It’s such a cute enjoyable read and there’s so much development! it’s just really wholesome and I cheer for their undying love.
I saw some spoilers in the other comments that really made my day but I’m not sure if it’s true that Zay carries both their marks because Azeph couldn’t get his mark? I know for sure there’s no way that they aren’t destined partners (they have to be or I’ll fucking stab a bitch-), but that theory would make sense because the prince did claim that there was something ‘odd’ about Zay’s mark and with their bond and love, there can’t possibly not be destined partners?
