The way they portrayed this scene in the novel is more emotional and sad. However, I love how they turned this into a comedic scene with both the guys looking like that in the last part
I can't really say that Dan-i is oblivious. She considers herself a spectator watching from the sidelines. She thinks that she's not part of their world, and there is no hecking way the "love interests" will fall in love with her. Considering also how she y'know last time, she might be afraid of forming deeper relationship with the other characters. So I guess she's more "in denial" than "oblivious"
