Worth the wait

The Novel will always be so much more. I’m interested to see how this turns out. In my minds eye Crown Prince was a bit more...masculine then what’s drawn. However I’m hooked so doesn’t matter.

i think its actually spot on,

i read the novel too and i think this is great since the crown prince only ascended when he was 17. So, he should still look like he is only 17 and youthful. Also, much smaller than Hua Cheng in his true form.

    also,

In the novel it is mentioned many times that he is stunningly beautiful. Which goes along with his comparison to a flower. Very delicate and beautiful, but also powerful. For sure he is powerful, but he is still very small and cute (since he became an immortal at 17 years old and will look like that forever, very young !!!)

You’re right I forgot he was 17. I guess the character is so maturely written I aged him in my head. I guess I’ll see how this plays out in the end. : D

DianXia's very mature mentally because of everything he's being through in the last 800 years especially in regards to the Fall of Xian Le, even though he's forever young at this point. That's probably what you are picking up to craft him in your head but his strength (he's the strongest Martial God in existence) belies his physical appearance. He is alot shorter than San Lang in his true form, though.

Yesss ! I agree that he is a lot shorter. My heart cried when Xie Lian first saw Hua Chengs true form and mentioned that he was much bigger than him and his voice was a lot deeper (as well as his more masculine features). I agree that he is very mature, it has really been a tough 800 years :'(

Honestly I had to read the book a couple of times. That not something I do there is a large chunk of the book that bored me and I skipped around. I did end up reading it all consecutively and the ending is kind of Bittersweet to me.

I honestly did not pay attention to what happened in what volume, because I was sooo immersed in the story I just kept reading. The biggest heartache was when I finished the entire novel, I was so upset lmaoo but it was just TOO AMAZING
