I don't think Aquilla harmed Uriel out of vengeance. At the time he also harboured hostility towards Lamia - he almost twisted her arm during 3rd Prince's funeral - so I think what he did to Uriel was more out of spite.

ML probablly killed her brother in one of the replays and she hated him for that even more and than he thought that making his hand unable to hold a sword was the second best choice in the next replay.
What do you think? Maybe her brother was jelly of her beeing respected and loved by everyone...(or whatever reason he had)
