Damn this manhwa gets so real... I’ve experienced being treated with all levels of racism (physical abuse, sexual harassment, verbal abuse, xenophobia, death threats etc) my whole life as an asian in North America and have kept being told that racism towards asians doesn’t exist and that it’s our fault for not speaking up. I see people constantly using the model minority myth as a racial wedge between asians and blacks; that asians don’t face racism because of the myth that underlines “all asians are successful”. My heart goes out to all who have been discriminated, no matter what skin you have, what background you have, who you love and are loved by: if you’re human, you deserve to be treated like a human.

Racism exist against every race dont let them ever tell you it doesnt exist. Just because the Asian Comunity is too quite about it doesnt mean its deserved. Im half Asian too, and i was beaten by a Group of Racist when i was just 14 years, but i was lucky that People walked by and helped. I live in Germany, and im also half german im so thankful for this People that helped. I agree with you 100%.

Agreed! Racism is racism no matter what. No one deserves to be treated in such an ill manner. I remember when I was 6, I was severely beat up and almost got my nose permanently damaged because of a bullying incident during primary school and almost getting expelled for saying that I wished he could just die and disappear. In my last year at highschool, students were threatening to gangbang me and burn my face because I was an unwanted asian in our school and because the yearbook committee—that I was ambassador for—could not place prom in the yearbook due to publishing dates. I was lucky other people helped me and the police got involved for harassment. My best wishes to you and kuddos to your strength

Racism against Asians is just so normalized that when people and other Asians try to speak out about it or call people out for they racist behaviors, they’re called sensitive or they’ll try to argue against it saying that it’s not racist.

Completely agree. It’s sad how badly people try to ignore even the idea of racism towards asians. I find it quite ironic how people denied racism and violence against asians during this pandemic and putting the blame on an ethnicity

It really is quite sad :(
I know for sure that when I was bullied, during my primary years, the children who bullied me were completely influenced by their parents’ segregationist beliefs.
I want to believe that racism has decreased but I am reminded by my friends’ younger siblings, who are still in middle school and highschool, who face the same racism I did during my childhood
