it’s a little tricky. he’s an immortal jellyfish so after reaching peak adulthood (so like when us humans get old enough where we start getting old to death) he’ll revert back into his baby form. however, he won’t lose his memories, so he’ll be able to reform like how we saw him do in the last chapter. all sousuke has to do is give his kiss kiss time to make him go back to his regular form but it looks like it won’t happen too often. although he is mysterious and the story doesn’t elaborate much, that’s what i got from it while translating it and reading some comments!! hope this helps :)
