Thank you! Everyone likes to say that she was forced into it or that she would have to anyway... she didn't even TRY to refuse. If she had tried and failed to call it off, that would be a different situation but you can't go along with the it willingly and then claim your tryna be different, like how'd that work huh, alps hse was already a noble with money and stsuts she would have no problem leading a peaceful life with a noble of equivalent or near to equivalent status if she really HAD to marry
I know, even in the most cookie cuter mc at least tries to refuse, but she did not even try, I really wanted to like it tho :(
I really want to like this buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut...
The design is good, but there is a lot of things that bother me.
For starter how used to the noble lifestyle the mc is, she excels all the noble etiquette with not problem whatsoever.
She does not really have a strong reason to get marry, "want to live peacefully" my ass, when she was literally asked by her father if she really wanted to marry, she could choose to not get involved, her father was literally willing to reject the emperor in order to make his daughter happy, she could marry anyone she wanted and have a happy peaceful life.
She does not particularly fangirls over them as a couple enough put herself at risk in order to see them develop feelings for each other like in "Miss not so sidekick" for example, I have no idea why she chooses to be a queen.
She wants them heroine and emperor to be a couple but most of her "will" to make them a couple is on her thoughts, she does little to nothing to give them moments, for starters she could easily refuse to try dresses, but she didn't.
She is TO DAMN clueless, "the emperor is telling me the love lines were meant for heroine, hmmmmm I wonder what it means", she is not written as a clueless character either, the people around her sees her as someone wise and intelligent, I would understand if she was written as dense as in "hametsu no flag" but is not the case.
She relies too much on the book, every chapter she is basically "this didn't happen in the book, hmmmm"
There other things that bother me... honestly I was hoping at least heroine and mc would be friends, or at least something like in "The Stereotypical Life of a Reincarnated Lady", but that is out of the window.
This was just a rant to take it out of my chest, this could have being much more, I kind of tired of "I won't fall in love with him >:(" for of plots when they so obviously end up together, I know the important thing is the journey to that but this journey does not convince me.
I was really hoping she could notice he is falling in love with her and then response with the "Uh, I thought this was supposed to be a loveless marriage" while grinning at him as a petty revenge for his attitude, I would live for that! Or idk, PLOT TWIST MC IS LESBIAN!, something new, something fresh.
