Mhm, you're right. I read a couple of similar ones recently and they always do the saaaaaame shit. In the next chapters Yahwi is gonna get worse but I can foreshadow a redemption arc coming around the 40th chapter. It would be really refreshing for the storyline to change for once and I have a bit of hope in the author considering we've only seen one body of work from her but as you said, this is a work that heavily relies on tropes so I doubt it
It has great reviews but the cover screams love triangle of some sorts or threesome and I’m not really interested in that,,, is it? And even if it is, should I give it a chance and read it?
