Osiris blackmailed Seth into stoping to love his son to save his life and raped him. Seth had to stop acting like a loving father to save his son but tried to get revenge again on Osiris by cursing him. But instead the curse bounced and landed on his own son instead because this last one accepted to be the host body for Osiris without knowing his father sacrifice and who wasn’t at the origin of his sickness. Hence why Seth’s son can’t grow up and can’t be a god...

also a spoiler!!: anubis isn’t even seth’s son, he’s osiris’s son. he’s the product of an affair osiris had with seth’s wife because she was in love with him, and he used that as an opening to get to seth because osiris is obsessed with him. so yeah, my man seth has had it pretty rough.
So what is Horus's role in all of this? Everybody seems to be using him for revenge. Is he just a tool? He seems to have an honestly good personality unlike his uncles even his parents. Isis' brain is already corrupted with revenge.

Horus has a huge crush on Seth because once in the past they meet when Seth was drunk or something and treated Horus like like his son. Tenderly. And in between an absent father and a revenge obsessed mother, Horus didn’t have much proper love growing up so even tho he’s fallowing his mother’s plans so far he has a sort of low key obsession with Seth too... ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
Yikes. I don't want him to turn like Osiris from what I've heard. And Anubis that poor baby I didn't know where to start with him.
Well Osiris is kinda worse with his blackmail and essentially ruining Seth life (stole his wife, kid and isolated him and more) but with all the drama Seth and Horus relationship is bound to be a bit twisted. Hopefully they fall in Love anyways. I have hope. I don’t care about the rest, it’s all small bumps on the road. Seth has is reasons but he’s no innocent ether. He was ready to rape Horus to teach him a lesson that night under the bad influence of the goddess of chaos, it just backfired on him... they both are in a rivalry relations right now but we know how hate and love is barely distinguishable sometimes...

1. I forget exactly how, but Osiris uses Anubis against Seth, which is how he has control over him. Seth loves Anubis, regardless of whose son he is, because he raised him as his own.
2. The “mirror lady” is his real wife. I believe she locked herself in there to punish herself for all the chaos she called, because she’s actually supposed to be the goddess of peace (go figure)
3. Nobody but Seth, his wife (I forget her name), and Osiris actually know what transpired between them. That includes the rapes and affairs, his obsession with Seth, and all of that. They are the only three who know, so to all the other gods Seth killed Osiris because he was “power hungry” and basically for “no reason” which is why they still like him so much.
Yes I have high hopes for Horus and Seth too (I can stand twisted plot, but I just dont want Horus' obsession to reach the level of his father. It's hard to find likable characters in this story. I don't want to lose Horus). I also sort of hated Seth from the beginning because of the way the story portrayed him (his back story is devasting but totally explains his character more). I don't know what to feel about Isis (but I hate her more for now). Osiris is a two faced bastard (EVIL to the core). Anubis is just precious. Nephtys (I don't know if I spelled her name right) should be the Godess of bulshitery. Sekhmet just want to destroy everything. Ra is only interested with entertaining stuff. I kinda like Maat and her husband Thoth. Other Gods are also fucked up. It's rare to like some.
Yeah... Anubis kinda betrayed his father and is working again him in the contest between Seth and Horus... but also teaming up with isis and Osiris again Seth. How do you think Osiris can manifest on earth again despite Seth killing him? So he brought that on himself with his choice. I get that him and Seth don’t have a good relationship but he just made things way worse without understanding all anything about the situation. I’m really not a fan. And Yeah if you wan goodie two shoes characters, this is not the right series for you hun (￣∇￣")... I like dark and twisted relationships so this is Gucci for me (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ Hahahaha. To each his own.

I don’t read Korean so I don’t know the specifics but from what I deducted in the raw it had to do with Anubis’s health. The subject of the blackmail.
LMAO I won't say I like/love dark and twisted relationships (wouldn't read yaoi for more than 10 years without having my fair share of rape (most popular), incest, cheating, battered up boyfriends in yaoi mangas/manhwas). My Gucci is a good story line with interesting characters. I think manhwas are better than your typical twisted yaoi because they delve deeper into the issues and explains the characters twisted actions well (I enjoyed Killing Stalking, Warehouse and currently Painter of the Night). Maybe because manhwas can last longer, in japanese yaoi, you're lucky if you can get 2 volumes. Back to the story, I haven't read the raws, but despite that I still think Anubis is innocent up to the current translated chapter. Obviously, he loved Seth but even Gods in this story have limits its not Anubis' fault if he got fed up and wanted Seth gone, he's not exactly an examplary father in the past years (imagine growing up in that kind of environment, fucked up mother and father. And not just people, but God's trying to control you from left and right). Osiris is most definitely manipulating him. Yeah its his choice, but does he know what fucked up Osiris had done to Seth? Did Osiris tell him his real intentions, and is offering his body knowing that? He'll probably turn evil/twisted if this continues. This story could last forever with all these drama. Not complaining tho. I'm hooked.
