This is one of my favorites. I keep on coming back for a re-read throughout the years and the two of them are just so endearing. Kunieda Saika is really good.
It's funny that this time as someone older it made me reflect on my own relationships and how far I've come with people I love. I could relate to a lot of their issues and flaws. The characters are quite multi-dimensional and real compared to most yaoi and BL, you don't find that often.
My only complaint has always been the heteronormative lens through which Kento views the relationship (like calling Akira his bride and in general projecting hetero dynamics), but that's also his own peculiarity and flaw and is part of his character so I can't really say it's a problem for the manga as much as something that bugs me off specifically.
I just love these two so much <3 Very well written!
