I don't mind rape fictions so that's not really my issue here. My disappointment is exacly the fact that so many yaoi/manhwa have non-con elements that i got tired of it and it's kind of repetitive? I feel like authors definitely have the potential to write a love story but it seems that they draw smut scenes just for the sake of it (which is ok i mean, it's all entertainment after all).
I'm just a little tired and disappointed with all these stories where one character falls in love out of nowhere and immediately starts to think with his dick only.
I completely agree rape is a terrible thing but manga like this is basically porn , smut it doesn’t have a really story and I feel like if you don’t like that kinda stuff watch out for the tags
Yeah, when someone commented that they like the manga or enjoy the manga with rape on it. Others attacking them saying 'There's something wrong with ur head', 'I fear for ur life' gone crazy and etc. Everyone has their own preference you can't do something about it. And if you hate rape concept then stop reading, simple as that. And stop attacking others by their own preference. They all toxic people. They can't even differencient fiction and reality.
Right? I mean some people enjoy horror movies, action, thriller ecc but that doesn't make them violent sociopath criminals... Enjoying some fictional content doesn't mean you support it irl
Really, what's up with Fujoshis and Fudanshis? They keep complaining on "rape" on Yaoi stories. Before you judge me! Wait! I am not saying RAPE is justified because I for one know that RAPE is evil and I really hate it. But can we all calm down and accept the fact that this is merely FICTION, people? And don't get me started with "even though it's fiction, it should not be" bullshit right now.
Really, why are you all so sensitive? If you are a fujoshi or fudanshi, you surely must have been already aware that more than half yaoi manga/manhua/manhwa out there involved with non- consensual stuff at first hand, really! You don't need to keep showing hate on the work if there is "non- consensual" stuff and keep on complaining about it. Truly, are you still surprised and repulsed by it at this point in being a fujoshi/ fudanshi?! And again, I AM NOT SAYING THAT WE SHOULD BE USED BY THE RAPE CONCEPT.
I am merely saying that can we tone down the complaints, people? If you hate it, why not just drop the story already and next time, watch for the tags? 'Cause sometimes it is so depressing to see the comments full of complaints when I for one enjoyed the story. Like look, even though the story started off with the non consensual stuff, the characters made it work in the end, right? So why not just focus on the "work out" stuff and not in the negative stuff. Really, I see all of you more complaining than the character who was "raped".
What's more, most of yaoi out there always tend to escalate in "sex out of nowhere", so why surprised? What's unfair is that I don't see much people complaining on the rape concept on Love is an Illusion (I consider this rape since Heesung was intoxicated with his heat at first) and Painter of the Night etc. I don't know whether it is due to its popularity or what not. All I'm saying is that please tone down on all of the complaints.
