Yeah I don't get it either but he probably haven't been scared or traumatized like Ryu Han Bin or the great earthers yet which is why I think they hate the "jolly good fellow" Liang
He is a naive fool like that because he's being helped by hanbin for level up.so basically he doesn't know real fear yet and is being annoying af
I'm pretty bummed out that a lot of people don't like the new character :/ I can agree that he acts like a fool almost every time we see him, but it's a bit refreshing and intresting to have a character that's also an other worlder but completely different from what is said about them. He's naive, dense and heroically dumb, however he also acts like mc's moral side and I really appreciate that! It seems like the more protagonists grow stronger, the less they care about others and in general about life, I hope it was authors intention to put him there in order to remind us that sometimes forgiveness is better than winning a fight ;)
