Feels like lately old xian doesn't want to develop the relationship between the characters anymore... this manga was started with a beautiful characterization of Jian Hi, who, in each chapter, found out the real feelings for his childhood friend and his sexual orientation... now is like too superficial to me :/ but I still follow the manwa cuz I love them and the art

I agree. Every chapters now seem like blue-balling. Like, there has to be a gag every chapter. There was some stuff about Jian Yi being kidnapped, and the development between Mo and He Tian seems to have stagnated.

Idk the manhwa is fine as it is, but I wish there was something more

This is bc of the strict rules in China abt lgbtq romance on tv, comics, etc. Its basically banned and she often has to change her story or tweak it bc The website she uploads to regulates lgbtq content heavily. Before, when we saw all the progression between Jiang Yi and Zheng Zhan Xixi it was bc back in like 2014 it wasn’t as strict. Let’s hope the ban doesn’t hinder her story completely

Really? Then what about other bl manhwas, such as The Story Between You x Me and Starting with a Lie? Both of them have explicit gay story lines

I just looked it up, and Weibo - the website Old Xian uploads her comics to - reversed its ban after public outcry and protests.
