I have no need to hide yaoi. I actually told once my roomie that i watch gay porn and got nervous laughter as an answer. Pretty much everyone here is pretty open about gays and gay marriage, but I'm sure that no one is willing to tell "hey, i loove to read yaoi".
I won't bother with my family.
I don't buy any books, but I tend to borrow mangas from the library. I read online mostly. My family does not favor reading manga, but aren't against it. However, if they find I read people having sex, especially gay sex, that'll be a different story. My brother knows that I read these mangas, and is cool with it. But he would syask me sometimes, how can a man lust after another man, it's just dicks.
i even have to hide shoujo manga, because my mother finds the unnatural proportioned eyes so scary - so no way i`d ever tell her i read yaoi now^^
Me too i hide them and if they found out i m dead for sure. I buy just my favorites one but there are too much of them and my other problem is that my box will be too small to hide them all ^^'
Damn. Well that is one way to come out. I'm always afraid I'll forget to delete my browsing history and something like this will happen
I use Private Browsing:P I don't I'll ever come out to my parents. Some of my other otaku friends know I do, but I don't think they how "intense" the yaois I read are. I need some fujoshi friends
Well, i don buy yaoi manga but just read it in online site. i just keep it secret to my mom coz my sister already know bout my hobby n some time i tell her the story again her will,,,,,i love it to see my sis face,,,,,hahaha n my coworker one by one know bout me who read yaoi manga. So i'm in safe zone..... no worry anymore
i hide them.. i actually have 2 yaoi dvds.... and my aunt saw it and never said anything e.e
so guys when you buy yaoi mangas do u hide them or just display them openly to family and other people cos in my case my family aren't aware that i read yaoi n m pretty sure they wont like it.
