yes, but the main appeal of omegaverse- and that includes the pheromones (which in itself is kinda copied from the animal- and plant kingdoms) - is that actual reproduction/creation in a womb is no longer solely - biologically - female-focused (sea horses aside for a moment pls) aka males, who grow a womb, can give birth... a female an omega, while she already possess a womb from the get-go biologically (yes, I am aware that not all females are born with one, I'm generalizing, not trying to step on anyone's toes); I mean, technically, an alpha female would also be able to give birth (or do they; honestly, haven't encountered that one so far), so..?? (actually, how would that work - female alpha goes in a rut, male omegas get... horny instead of what they usually do in -yaoi- omegaverses, where THEY prepare for penetration)...
I mean, the purpose of the pheromones, strictly speaking, is to attract/identify MATES/partners for reproduction, not sex for funsies (which in itself humans only share with dolphins, as far as science goes).

well that's from your viewpoint, I don't really think that mpreg is where the appeal is, i think that the appeal is solely on pheromones and abilities (stronger, smarter alphas for example) of its gender, how society in this universe views its of them e.t.c.
Also it's a different universe depending on the author, in this one for example or any other (universe), female alphas may not have the ability to give birth and may be able to grow a dick during sexual intercourse in order to impregnate the omega or the beta(or may have the dick from the very start with only thing making them different from male their breasts*), or female alphas may not even exist and simply all other female that are not omegas may simply be betas without any pheromones with the ability to get impregnated but being less fertile than an omega female. Everything is possible, you're thinking too much.
*about the purpose of breasts in a female alpha that doesn't have the ability to get pregnant: Her body my be able to produce milk for the infant just like their mate in order to help, and to have a difference from a male. Since the whole omegaverse thing can be interpreted as a new genetic evolution, the female alphas may have evolved from a simple female, that's why they may keep some of their original abilities as normal females before the evolutions. Anything is possible and everything can be created into something that will make the plot work.

I can’t comment on how it’s gonna be different for straight omega, since these 2 mangas are basically new. But I thought only the girl alpha would have a dick, so I’m assuming that even though they can give birth too, it really is all about preference. Omegaverse was definitely made for yaoi, but like it doesn’t stop ppl from transforming it and doing other stuff with it. Maybe someday we’ll also see a Yuri omegaverse ┑(￣^ ￣)┍. And I think female omegas and beta females are pretty much have normal female body parts, it’s only the female alpha that changes. But I mean we can’t knock this until we figure out if this will be good or if it should just stay in yaoi. I agree with Samy, it’s not only about being able to get preg, but also about the pheromones, fated mates and just raw attraction that’s makes omegaverse appealing.

I have a collection of 8 so far. Im all in for the Hetero ABO stories! Alpha females can get pregnant but can also impregnate male omegas and other females. Just as male omega can get female alphas pregnant (any female actually since they are still male.)
The special features of the ABO universe is that female alphas and impregnate and male omegas can get impregnated. All other gender normities stand.
I have read stories of Alpha x Alpha where the woman has the child so yes alpha women can have children since they are still female. These were side characters though.
It depends on the world the author creates. In some works alpha women can’t even have children.
I don't think I've read a story where they outright said alpha women can't, just that it's unlikely, like their fertility is lower than beta and omega women. Usually I read that Alpha x Alpha political marriages are to ensure and alpha offspring so that would suggest that they can indeed get pregnant. But what do I know I'm not a writer and I haven't read them all.
There are 2 yuri ones that I know of now but one is incest. Both are quite good actually and we have seen the family thing in yaoi too so you know, we work with what we got.

It's not a specific story. I'm refrencing ones where the alpha comes from an Alpha only family. Based on this we know alpha women can get pregnant. I will try to find the one about the 2 omega but they arent characters. Just a dialogue about both parents being omega.
