the writing quality is dropping? Especially shin and wolfgang dont seem as genuine-ish. I felt like their personalities got flatter? Especially shin. Not really liking the damsel in distress role he had here

I think the recent chapters are mostly action. shin planned to die alone to save Wolfgang since he owes his loyalty and life to him. he was tortured so obviously he couldn't protect himself..
