True, romance is the last thing this story should ever have. The wholesome family dynamic is what we're here for ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~ finally an author understands that we like the fantasy, action and friendship part instead of pushing some random romance out of the blue.
AHHHH I'M SO EXCITED!! You guys, the novel for this is amazing, the author is a master at foreshadowing the crazy twists that happen and you can see he/she really planned the novel and put a lot of thought and heart into it. To the people afraid of romance in the story don't worry cuz so far there's none (the novel still ongoing and the translations are caught up to it), all the main characters have this wholesome family relationship and feel like real people that slowly change as the story goes on. Even the villains are very compelling, you guys that haven't read the novel will not regret getting into this story! Honestly my favorite novel by far ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
