Jiro's colorblind and Atobe doesn't like "being looked at" (it makes him uncomfortable and tense, so he's wearing glasses to blur out those who are looking at him; but they're aggravating his eyes). So it's both - an act of love and mutual relief

i think they're color blind, and covering each other's eyes is just act of love? hehehe
