I feel sorry for him but like... He is so much an asshole, you all just like him because he's hot. I used to like him, at first, but he is everything I hate in guys and... I don't care about his looks he's an asshome that's it.

"he's everything i hate in guys" yeah i think thats intentional tbh. like the writer KNEW she was gonna put him through it so she decided to make Minho feel like one of Those Types guys that women have met in some capacity at least once during their lives. that really are The Worst but in a real way rather than in a more exaggerated villainous way. now i still think the author goes too hard on him making it harder for me to hate him properly but ya he still sux lol. which is kind of the point of him. (he is hot tho like damn! but not like others i can find him hot and pathetic and unlikable all the same time woo~)
yeah fine, he's supposed to be an asshole, and cool for you to like him, like he's well written as an asshole and there are guys that are supposed to be mean that I liked because I find them interesting as a character (like Sangwoo), but him, the fact that he also looks and sounds real it disgusts me. Not liking him do not erase the fact that I feel sorry for him though and that he does not deserve to be treated this way, but he's still a terrible human being and I hate him for that. His superiority-inferiority complex is something he needs to take care about
did i say i like him? i dont. maybe u misread what i typed. i did type alot. and yeah the realness of his assholery is why its so effective at making the reader resent him. which is necessary or watching doona curb stomp him over and over will get hard. (and ofc alot of people find it hard anyway). i do think part of the reason he feels Real is also cause he was based on a real guy. something i want to say! i called it! way before the author did a Q&A where she flat out says that Minho was based on a guy she knew in college (but looks nothing like the actual guy did, and ofc he doesnt cause Minho is super hot and most Minho type guys are not. lbr). and anyway considering what she puts minho thru in this comic it rly makes u wonder what went down between the author and this guy from college....alas we shall never know.

Minho looking and sounding real is why he is my favorite character in the series. That isn't saying much though. I think Haesol is lame, Donna and Wookyung are unsympathetic characters I couldn't careless about. Gyerin was interesting but she is a afterthought in the series since Doona is the main character and all the characters are defined by how they relate to her.
I understand that, his originality as sounding real is what is making him interesting, and very unlikable to me. Also I kinda agree with you, but I still like Gyerin, she's my fav
I like Gyerin too but because she is no longer around Doona she is hardly in the series anymore.
