From what I understand, asumi has been inviting daiki and yuki to his place to give them foods and teach daiki to cook, but afterwards he always has to make excuse of going somewhere else after instead staying in his own place (cause he now lives with naruse and ichika). Daiki looks like he's been suspicious from the beginning and asumi feels like he can't keep lying anymore so he's probably thinking of explaining about his relationship with naruse to daiki, that's why he's asking yanagi for advice about coming out.
