I think the hesitated smile was her deciding to just letting the matter go and not force Nina to tell the truth.
Yea I am still a bit suspicious of her as well cuz like how is she going to fall in love with someone who killed her savior in the books, right?
I know it’s weird, but the saintess seems suspicious to me, like in chapter 15 she hesitates before smiling when Nina tells her she’s okay, and I feel like it’s not the first time she done it. I’m not jumping to conclusions because she did save Nina’s life but still
